Friday night, September 23, The Goldstars return to Cal's in the South Loop. If you are looking for a place to spend a Friday night listening to amped-up music, and want to find yourself later saying "Man, they sure love booze in there," or "Well, now I have ear damage" then come on down. And wear your drinking pants.

The next day, Saturday September 24, I'll be gladly performing at the Woodstock Katrina Relief Concert, with Gregg Juhlin on bass and Jim Bashaw on drums. It's an all day event, for obviously a good cause. We're up at 1:40 p.m. Loads of bands are playing, including an interesting explosion of tribute bands the night before.

After that, I'll be chucking my good intentions to the side and joining The Goldstars for a night time rock club appearance at the Points East Pub in Milwaukee. That's right, two gigs in one day, Saturday, September 24. Join us, won't you? We will totally drive you home*.
